S1:E13 - We Have No Bananas, Today!

Not only are we depleted of bananas, but the whole store is closed for the week. 

Q: What is worse than having ALS?

A: Having ALS and a nasty case of pneumonia.

Q: What's worse than having ALS and a nasty case of pneumonia?

A: Having ALS, nasty case of pneumonia and being constipated for 7 days.

Q: What's worse than ALS, pneumonia and constipation?

A: Having ALS, pneumonia, constipation, and averaging 4 hours sleep because you're coughing.


So, I'll be back next week and I'll tell you about our successful Capitol Hill meetings with CA Senators and CA House members.

Please, no get well advice unless you're a doctor with a degree on your wall and letters after your name. I have Mari, Maira, doctors and a heck of a lot of friends pitching in. I am having good and great days because of Mari and the above entourage of folks. To be surrounded by so much love makes me a grateful and one lucky bloke and impossible not to have good or great or spectacular days.

In the meantime maybe you can do some writing and not for publication but getting to know yourself better - OR - you can chill and watch a few videos of Portugal and day dream, which is also time well spent.

Where do we draw the line? With your foot in the sand so we can erase it and draw a new one further down the beach?  Or do we spray paint it onto the pavement so it is more permanent? S1:Ep1 - Mortality

    Mere mortal or immortal? Certainly not an everyday topic at the forefront of my mind. You hear of all the tragicness here at home and abroad. No longer a punchline  about postal workers. Children murdered at schools, mass murders at concerts and clubs, car accident fatalities, childhood or young adult cancer, terminal diseases and war. That is a short list example of mortality. All you need do is ask any family member who has experienced any of the above and they'll tell you all about it.  Now me. This is my first time blogging and my hope is to tell my truth without enhancement. I am not a writer,  so if I come off at times preachy or judgmental, cut me some slack please.
